Thursday PM: Arrive at SFO, heading into San Francisco and staying in Ghirardelli Square. We’ve got our eyes on some good seafood, perhaps dive Chinese, and of course a couple squares of chocolate!
Friday Noon: Tesla factory Tour! We’ll be on tour with about 25 other Teslive attendees. Hats off to all the teslive organizers for arranging the tours – I think close to 125 people are doing tours either Friday or Sunday. I can’t wait, I’d love for Nico to find robotics intriguing and I think he’ll find the factory tour fascinating.
Friday Evening: Welcome reception for the conference. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
Saturday: The big day! There are morning sessions, Keynote right after lunch with Elon Musk, Jerome Guillen, and Leilani Munter, and then I get to speak on a panel in the afternoon. Our group is doing Tesla Kuchas, short, quick PowerPoints followed by Q&A. Then in the evening, we go back to the factory for a dinner/reception. Big Day!
Sunday: After breakfast, there are a load of people doing a drive in the hills of the south Bay, we might just join in!
Sunday Night: Fly back to Texas, Nico starts a soccer camp Monday morning in Austin, and I go back to work to help to pay for all this!
